49ers sign QB Josh Dobbs

Welp with this move..this is the first season in a while I feel comfortable making a playoff run (besides the 2021-22 season)....not being worried if we lost the starter for a few games during the season.. or needing a backup to make a playoff start.

I watched most of his starts and he shows his potential...but eventually he started feeling himself too much and got careless with the ball... but during his play, he made some passes that you wouldn't expect a backup QB to make. I'm sure the coaches will drill into his head where he eff'd up, and he'll look better with us than the Vikes.

Great pickup imo.

I like the Dobbs in Arizona. Not sure I like the Dobbs in Minnesota.

Dobbs IS good. This dude stepped in multiple times on short notice and made NFL level throws. Is he a franchise QB, no. But he's one of the better backups in the NFL and kept the vikes playoff hopes afloat for several weeks. He just needs to cut out the turnovers

He's a lot better if he just hangs out on the sidelines and never steps on to the field.
