Going to be fun to see him build some chemistry with Purdy.

I really hate to be what appears a constant party pooper here because Im excited for Pearsall to do well, but the corner seems to stare at the QB so he sees when Brock gets hit a moment right before Pearsall puts a move on. If the DB were guarding Pearsall and trailing that's likely a TD, but here hes playing what essentially is outside bail so I dont think its that clear cut that the play goes as it does if Guerendo doesnt miss the blitz pickup.

"He has size, he has movement. He's got really good route-running traits...He's so smooth and fluid as a route runner. There's an ease to his movement."

I mean he's a jackass and bad commentator imo. Wasn't the best thing he could have said in that moment….but dude how soft have we all become lol? f**king SM has ruined so much. We don't need to hear everyone's opinion on everything

I see him as more of a Jordy Nelson type of player
Yes, spot on Jordy Nelson or even Ricky Proehl.

I really like what I saw from Ricky. I know this may be wishful thinking because he was shot and did not have much of a training camp, but i'm hoping he's Puka Nacua lite the rest of the year. Puka came out of nowhere as a rookie and was an immediate contributor and then some.

He's faster than Puka. But probably not as good as breaking tackles. More of a route runner and running away from people.

I love how everyone keeps comparing him to random white receivers.

I don't see it......at least not Jordy Nelson.....
Nelson was Micheal Irving with speed.....big huge frame...a guy who would body up a DB then use a massive catch radius to snag balls.
Nelson had tweener TE dimensions.... by the time he was rolling in the NFL we are talking a 6-3 220/225 pound guy
Proehl was a thicker wider guy....at 5-10 180 when he entered the league...with limited athletic ability....
Ricky is much larger, faster, and quicker then Proehl could ever dream about being.
Comparing Ricky to Nelson is like comparing a DB to a LBer almost
and
Comparing Ricky to Proehl is really short changing Ricky as an athlete.
Gonna have to find more white guys if you insist in dropping him in a box with other white guys....

I'd compare him to Emmanuel Sanders but that doesn't seem to be allowed.

Still felt the best player comp was Puka, just very slightly smaller size. The way he was used in college in both the run and pass game and his playmaking ability stood out.
