Even Dante Pettis had a better rookie season
Are you super heroes just completely brain dead to being shot?
get real and grow up.
You think if Ricky wasn't shot in September he lines up in formation correctly in December?
Pick any player in the NFL and you can find a bonehead play this year.
the dude got shot and missed training camp and part of the season.
unless you could perform better maybe throw less stones.
I know that if it was my job I'd line up correctly.
Are you sure? I would be willing to bet that at some point when people ordered a number five with a coke from you you handed them one with a sprite.

Well if he's not doing the simple things like lining up, do you think he's doing the more difficult stuff like running the correct routes?

He made plenty of plays when open but cost the team multiple times with those awful illegal formation penalties. Thankfully it's an easy fix he can learn from, but super frustrating nonetheless..

Ladd McConkey was WIDE OPEN on literally every target against Denver
— Austin Abbott (@AustinAbbottFF) December 21, 2024
His ability to separate is truly incredible, he currently ranks 4th in Win Rate Vs. Man (42.3%)
He's also a dawg in Contested Catch % ranking 8th in the NFL (60.0%)
On pace for 78 receptions + 1,088 yards btw pic.twitter.com/vIV3RYKXzD

Such a great job by Ladd McConkey setting this route up. Then snaps it off to create separation and YAC. #Chargers are giving him 6.33 targets a game and that probably needs to get up to 9 or 10 tbh, especially needs more targets once they cross the opposing 40 yard line. pic.twitter.com/I8RhQSjybx

Was a big fan of his too, just wasn't sure about that previous back injury.
I am not surprised we took Ricky over him because we get so enamored with the person sometimes, we will pick the personality over pure ability sometimes.
As an example, say one guy is 10/10 as a person, 7/10 talent and another guy is 8/10 for both, they'll take the slightly lesser player. My opinion anyways.
