How does this team always find a way to miss or reach or get the wrong guy?

No they did NOT REACH. He is that good. In fact he is better. He is better than the 27th best player in this draft. He may put up more yards than Barkley and has a chance to be Offensive Rookie of the year.

98% of STUPID ANALYSTS on the internet said STUPID things about Penny but like I said they have NEVER even watched him play and know absolutely NOTHING about him at all. The same thing with these so called WZ "experts" on Penny. They don't know anything about him at all and read the stupid misinformation about him that they find on the so called "expert" sites. They assume it's right (it's DEAD WRONG). They watched the nationally televised games with USC, Georgia, LSU and see those guys and assume they know them and assume they are great. They have no familiarity with Penny. He doesn't get the TV coverage or the prominent program publicity. I know Penny. I've seen every single game of his career. He is that good easily and may be even better. He has a chance to be the best RB in this draft.

Hahahahahaha . Get ready for the mental gymnastics. That analysis is about as solid as his Guerremdo takes since he's apparently a huge Wisconsin fan and never misses a game

You do know he tore his knee right? Was never the same. He actually was playing really well and coming on. But with the injury he was never the same. There are even some highlights of long runs for TD's on YouTube if you care to look. But you guys always leave that out. That he tore his knee and was never the same. As if that doesn't matter somehow.

What I said about him was right. Better outside runner than inside runner. Which is true. Yeah I am a Wisconsin fan and have some relatives and friends there. I even have been to many of their games. I didn't say I hate him. Just said he's better outside. Which he is.

I learned long ago to not judge players off their first year performance. Many struggle in year one and go on to have a good career while some look great the first year and then fizzle after that. As far as speed they're virtually the same. 4.41 vs 4.39.

What ever happened to not being able to evaluate draft picks until they've had 3 years in the league?

FWIW im not s**tting in Ricky. I think he can play. He's gotta build chemistry with Brock.

I just wanted Ladd if the plan was WR end of the first. Dude was torching DBs at the Senior Bowl. I feel like they're very similar prospects though.

Barkley also tore his ACL. Now you want to use injuries as excuses?

He also looked nothing like the guy you claimed before that ACL later in his second year. If you are going to use the context that "Penny was coming on late in year two" then why are we not applying that same patience to Pearsall ? Especially considering Ricky missed a bunch of preseason/TC reps and then got shot and had to miss more valuable reps in both practices and potentially in games.
You can insert Ricky to the LAC offense or any other offense that throws a lot and Ricky would be right up there

We saw what Aiyuk can do when someone started actually throwing to him.

I have no idea why they took Pearsall instead but they did and we have to hope he gets better. I assume with a full training camp next season he will. I used to do a lot of pre draft stuff and then on draft day hope the Niners picked the players I liked. I don't bother anymore since it makes no difference. They take who they like. Not who I like. They have their reasons and we all have to live with it.

Ladd has the better QB for sure but Ladd is also just flat out better in every way.

Problem is, WR at the end of the 1st should have never been the plan.

Hard to say when Ricky doesn't get the ball
