if he would have gotten the ball like he did the last couple of games for the time he was able to be back.. that would be a great season.

Not statistically impressive indeed, but not surprising considering the circumstances. Did not become a featured player until late in the year. I think when that happened, he shined.

I particularly loved the contested catches he hauled in for TDs the past couple games.

I believe 6 or 7 WRs were selected ahead of Ricky, so his numbers aren't bad when considered in context. Oh yeah, and none of those guys got shot…

Don't you need to have a successful freshmen year in order to have a sophomore slump? He was ok for maybe 4 games, but mostly a non factor this season.

Don't you need to have a successful freshmen year in order to have a sophomore slump? He was ok for maybe 4 games, but he was mostly a non factor this season.

I feel like he came on late which is common for rookie wr, never mind his situation otherwise. There were many plays where i saw him open (even wide open) but Purdy was not looking his way.
