Puni and Nugent have a future here.

this guy and his versatility should really help solidify that side of the line. I also noticed that mckivitz was much better when he was next to a guard not named Burford. So I'm optimistic.
im really hoping the Michigan center we signed can become a good center for us. Brendel just isn't a great option.

So he's gonna be at guard based on their press conference and we know how they are about measurables at OL. Curious if they see him as a center of the future. I also think they are higher on Zakelj than we may realize. Maybe they envision Puni and Zakelj at C-RG or even at both guard positions going forward. It's something but not inspiring. Maybe Burford gets a look at RT?
He's kind of tall to move to center isn't he?
Short arms for RT. If he sticks at RG,I'm perfectly okay with that.
I hope he at least gets a look at RT.
Banks/Feliciano are decent enough. It's McK that needs to be replaced ASAP.
He kinds of reminds me of a young athletic with borderline arm length OT... Joe Staley. I know Mcivitz has about the same length. I would also like to see him start there and see how he does.

I like the pick and NY85 posted some great clips of him at Left Tackle. I think he can step into the left tackle positon and do as good a job as Jalen Moor, which isn't saying much, but it's better than nothing. I'm just glad they invested something in the OLine, unlike last year when they didn't.

Good point about McKivitz.

Agree and I'm also intrigued with OT Brandon Parker from the raiders. Trent Williams has said he's going to play in 2024. If Foerster can turn Brandon Parker into a legit starting left tackle after a year, that's a first round draft pick we save. I know Parker's not had a lot of success in the NFL, but neither did Laken Tomlinson before he came to the 49ers. Brandon is another athletic freak that needs to develop the mental side to be a good starting player. We shall see.

You hear the term "dancing bear" with OL and this is a perfect example of that term

49ers Dominik Puni starts with a wide-set but then has to reset hips to counter inside move then redirects after cutting off the inside move
Typically guys who are 6'5" 315 don't move like this pic.twitter.com/kPeIbTBgST

lol. A lot of people liked him…showed up at the senior bowl and played real well. Future starting OG without question.
Not gonna lie didn't watch much of anything from the UDFA C from Michigan. From what I've read, he sounds exactly like Brendel (also undrafted). IMO Kyle will sign a legit NFL center in a yr or so.
as far as Burford goes, I always thought he could play OT. I never thought he had the overall sand in his pants to hang inside. He had pretty good movement skills and length to play outside though.

Totally. He gets killed for power too often. Why he was played inside and Moore outside when they should've been swapped I will never know.
