We've shown we can get the ground game going against just about anyone, but too many heartbreaking losses where pass pro has collapsed when the opposition sell out against the run.

Give Brock more of that clean pocket when the game is there to be won thanks.

I think he can do both. But he's known as an excellent pass blocker and that's what's great about him IMO.

Article on CNN has him rated as one of the 10 best steals in the draft. 👀

That's probably true. He looks like a 1st round pick. We need it too.
But can he block Chris Jones. That's all that matters.

I don't think anyone can really block Jones

The question should really be "can he block Chris Jones better than Burford did in SB". And so far from what I've seen the answer seems to be "hell yeah".

That would be huge for us.
Well he's going to get the chance to prove how good he is with the injuries at that position. If he proves that he can handle the job it gives the Niners some much needed depth along the line.

I hope Foerster keeps Puni at RG, I'd love to see him develop there instead of moving him all over the creation. I'd also like to see Feliciano moved to Center, where I heard he's much better at. But yah, please keep Puni at RG.

Finish line tape?

I think that's the plan, but I personally would disagree - I think he would be a better pass pro tackle than McKivitz, so I wouldnt mind seeing him be an emergency tackle backup to start with. I feel as talented as he is in pass pro, in a pass-heavy league, and provided Niners do like versatility, it wont hurt to see if he could play tackle. He played tackle in college well.

He probably would be and people put way too much into arm length. Height and footwork matter a lot too. He's 6'5" 315 lbs. He has great footwork, technique, angles and athleticism. He could play most places on the line. But Guard is fine for now.
Hopefully Reddick continues to hold out into the regular season because I do not want to see him 1 on 1 vs McKivitz on a great Jets D line.

Their interior defensive line is beast mode too.

Yea, hopefully Banks is healthy and Brendel and Puni are ready. Gonna be a really tough game.
