If we had him last year, we would have won the Superbowl.

If Feliciano and Greenlaw didn't get hurt, we would have won the super bowl.

Very likely.

The minute Dre went down, I was like yup here comes both Mahomes and Kelce.

There are several things you can say that about but.... Yeah
Kid is looking very good so far. Even Burford looked good coming in late to replace a dinged up Banks. Having the two starting guard spots set with young, cheap and good options will help once Purdy gets paid.

That was heartbreaking. If Kyle doesn't have injuries, I think he's easily 3-0 in Superbowls.

Next Big thing is we got Dominick in the 3rd round. Banks in the 2nd round, and Burford looked really good at left guard, we got him in the 4th. So I'm confident they can get a left tackle next year without having to do a Trey Lance trade to move up in the draft for a left tackle.

Burford played really angry and rough. Which I like. He's mad he lost his job as he should be. He won't get it back. But I like that he stepped up and is playing even harder and more physical. It's the mental errors that I worry about with Burford though. That's where he really kills you.

Tackle next year? This year was the year for a
tackle.

If they nail a left tackle the way they nailed Dominick, Trents cap hit of (I think) 35+ million in 2026 can pay for Brock.

I actually think center is a bigger concern than tackle. And the good thing about that is you can get the best center in the draft late in the 1st RD or even 2nd RD.

I really think Burford will be a lot better on the left side.

I feel much better about the line with
Trent - Banks/Burford - Brendel - Puni - Mckivitz

burford seems much more natural and comfortable at the left side - he even said it's more his natural side. Maybe the assignments will come to him better.

That's a lot of conclusions after one game. I don't trust Burford at all. Brendal and McKivitz could sink the ship too. One injury and I am out there protecting Brock.
