there was an outside rush play that Puni got DEEEP into the second layer....that cat is a fantastic pulling guard. Bob McKitrick would be really proud of this dude...

We could have gone powers Johnson at center. Kingsley at rt. And puni at rg. (Or even over up a rad to guarantee rosengarten who I heard they wanted)

Powers would've been a reach in the first round and he was drafted before we used our 2nd round pick. I liked him a lot as well, but I understood why we didn't want to spent a 1st on him.
Kingsley has been pretty bad, so I'm glad we didn't. Rosengarten just got his first start so the jury is still out. I'm not mad about us not taking the 8th and 9th top rated T with our first round pick, that would've been a stupid reach.
Frazier tho

Kingsley loomed awful. Completely not ready to play. Beebe, Frazier, Rosengarten and McCormick were the real misses. All went mid 2nd round or later.

I don't agree that Powers would have been a reach.

Lots of good players in this draft IMO. The CB from Florida State they want to elevate to being in the game more. He's going to be on the field. Pearsall may be good but he got shot. We don't know everything about it yet. Too early.
