Agreed. Great to finally draft some guys who are starter material and already making an impact. Hope the trend continues going forward.

Puni

Banks
Dude is like All Pro. We got a Pro Bowl guy in the 3rd round. At a huge position of need. Unreal. Never thought I would see the day.
If I was a GM I would try and draft a Samoan player every year. Maybe 2. One on the offensive line and one on defense. I know they can't do that and I'm half joking but so many PI players that play in the NFL become stars. We had Sapolu. Iupatti played well for a couple years. Jr. Seau. Haloti Ngata. Troy Polamalu. Penei Sewell. The list is long and impressive. When you consider the smll population in Samoa and Hawaii it's even more impressive.

Samoans tend to be big and strong. They don't need a lot of artificial garbage to make them that way. Natural strength vs artificial.
I meant what he said ^

Also, don't forget the rugby players in New Zealand, islanders also

He's having a phenomenal season and seems like a perfect fit for the Shanahan style zone scheme. He's doing playing alongside arguably the leagues worst starting RT.
I assume that Banks will get offers that the team won't match or beat this offseason. If that happens do they move Puni to LG?

Banks isn't kicking ass like Puni, but he's solid imo. It's okay to expect more from Banks, though, considering his draft slot.

Banks is a solid LG. He is not a great probowl guard. But very solid.

Yeah they seem to be a lot of good players. They are big and strong. Know how to use leverage. It's all part of the culture. They are pre made for NFL football. LOL.

Even a broken clock (ShanaLynch) is right twice a day (can draft a good O-lineman).

It seems they get lucky once in a while on the offensive line. Wish it would happen much more often.
