When NC sees the 9ers drafted an OL whose strength is pass protection.

Gave up a 4th to go up 7 spots, but well worth it for this guy it seems.

Covid gave everyone extra eligibility.
I'll take it. Better than Zach Wilson and Trey Lance and their small sample size of work and drafted due to potential.

First pick and this one could become starters, reached on the 2nd. Gave up our 3rd and a 4th for this pick. Could we have not gave up the 4th to move ahead of the Ravens for the OT

I'd think Haynes being taken triggered that. Just a guess.

Yup. Definitely a trend. Experience with limited upside.
I don't like older players as I feel there is a noticeable difference between 23/24 year olds and 19/20. The 23/24 are more mature physically. I feel like any advantage they possibly had in college physically is obviously completely gone in the NFL.
Although one advantage another poster brought up is these players should be ready day one, atleast physically. There really shouldn't be any waiting. Hopefully they can catch on mentally quick. We're a team that needs to win now and the window is rapidly closing so I get that.

About time. Seems like a solid pick. NFL.com compares him to Dan Feeney. I recall the name, don't recall if Feeney was any good though.
