Brock was the last pick of the draft. Puni they traded up in the 3rd RD to get. I don't know if you could call it luck if they trade up to grab the player. For instance I would say the Chiefs getting Creed Humphrey was luck because he just fell into their laps. The Texans getting Stroud was luck because the Panthers were stupid to take the wrong QB. I will also say the Niners getting Brock was luck because every team passed on him every round, including the Niners.

I have always had a "natural strong and tough " attitude and play from Polynesian football players. Puni does not look muscle man strong, but his fluid athletic movements make his blocks carry a punch. I also think it's almost like Scott Gragg who was farmer strong

He's just an incredible player. One of the best Guards in the league. Even right now.

We need to bolster the OL with a trade. Puni has been a revelation, but EVERY rookie hits a wall at some point. If we expect to make a run in the playoffs, we need to assume slight regression from Puni as the season goes on.

There is nothing wrong with Puni. He's fine. We have other slots to fill.

Understood. Our offensive line has been decent, but thats due to the fact that we have Trent on one side and Puni playing at an All Pro level on the other. If Puni starts to slip some, which is only natural given that he is a rookie, we might be in real trouble.

According to PFF, Puni is now ranked #9 among guards. Another rookie showing up.
