sooner or later, he'll get infected by the 49ers m.o.
Nobody for the 49ers wants to play anymore this season. They know it's over. They know Buffalo is going to be a bloodbath, they don't want to be part of the embarrassment.

This rookie is ranked #4 among all guards. Of the three above him, one plays next to a top-tier Center while Puni plays next to "you know who."
He just keeps on road grading dudes in the run game and gives up very few pressures.
All Pro stuff.

He's just a really good player.
I'm almost sure he would be as good playing RT or even LT like in College.
He's playing like a top 10 pick in the draft seriously.

I saw that he was the highest rated OL this week so far.

It's such a head scratching phenomenon how this organization can't draft a lick in the 1st but find pro bowlers and all pros in day 2 and 3 constantly. I don't get it, I think they really get too cute and over think it in the first

It's crazy and I don't understand it. We have had so many bad 1st rd picks that seemed like they were going to be bad right from the get go. They're better off letting the webzone draft the first round and then they can do the rest.

They never go best player available in the 1st RD. Unless it's a slam dunk pick like Bosa was. They drafted Trey because they wanted a QB badly and went with the guy with the best athletic tools. Unfortunetely it turned out to be a bad draft class for QB's as none of them were any good. They drafted Kinlaw because they wanted to replace Buckner. Drafted Pearsall because they weren't sure if BA was staying. Kyle and John just need to go BPA in the 1st RD regardless of whether or not it's a position of need.

Actually, BPA in the 1st is not a bad idea.

I wonder if they would move him to center next year?

Personally I don't like the idea of moving guys around that much. Let him grow and excel at guard and go out and find a real center. You move him to center then you just have a whole back at the guard position. Now if he were struggling at guard them maybe a switch would light a fire.

I hear you, but he did take snaps there and he has the ability and IQ it seems. So if they think he could translate to a top center I would be tempted.

I hope not, I think he's good where he's at. If anything move him to LG if they can't re-sign Aaron Banks. I want them to either sign a veteran or draft one.
