No, just take BPA. Like the Steelers and Ravens do. Someone always falls unexpectedly.

Good s**t
For a third round pick too most of the other selections were drafted way higher. Goes to show you how good the Niners are at drafting later round players. Best in the league by far
Puni proves we can have success when drafting O linesmen.

Proof we should draft more of them.

If he can maintain his skills at run blocking and improve in pass blocking next year, we might have a all pro guard in him.

The 49ers don't have much young talent, but Puni is definitely a cornerstone moving into the future. He has to make NFL All-Under-25 Team this year.

Hopefully, they can add a few more Punis to the roster.

I'd say 80/20 this. You take BPA the vast majority of the time and only trade down if no one is separated from the pack and you cam get that same value where you slide to.

We all have seen people we thought were gonna be a cornerstone turn into a pumpkin over the course of a single season and no replacement was in sight, it sucks. Always be looking for the best player to replace the person in front of them, worst case it helps at contract time or you can trade away one and let the other shine.

Repost, because hes just soo good for a Rookie.
arguably our best pick in a few years!
