Gotta know the terminology, plays, and hopefully recogy. I think Neanderthal is the minimum limit. A dumb rock is a tier below. 😆

He could make a nice career here with SF. I think Juice is the kind of dude that would help.

If the plan is FB that's f**king horrible. Folks gotta realize Juice is one of one as far as playing fullback goes.

once he's done the FB position isn't gonna be what we think it is with him.

I am curious as to why you think they can't develop another's player. Juice was a TE in college that converted to FB in the prison. Why couldn't the 49ers do the same or take an actual college fullback? I do think its interesting that they haven't tried (on record) to groom another player, but I'd really like to know why this isn't possible.

😳

So that was supposed to be league. How that came out as prison....idk lol.

😆 that was awesome flowed right in.
I read the article at the top of the page about "did the 49ers reveal their hand before drafting Guerendo? I don't know if they did but so what? It's not like they outfoxed every team by taking him.

I've often wondered about why some of these guys that have all the physical tools fail in the NFL. The only thing I can see other than poor team fit is they can't handle the competition. In high school and college the biggest and fastest get by on their physical skills. In the NFL everyone is good and physical ability alone won't cut it. That's where the mental part comes in. Some can't handle the fact that they just can't outrun or out jump everyone. They have to think. They have to perfect their skills. They have to endure pain every week. They have to face the fact that they aren't the biggest, baddest guy on the field. Some can't cope with that.

SOME needs to be given a chance.. some needs that LUCK.. while most just need to WANT IT !!

He has all the measurables and tangible skill, like speed, power, blocking and catching, but so do many busts, because they lack these intangibles:
Intangibles for a RB:
#1. Vision and instincts, feel for where the hole will be
#2. Decisive burst into the hole hard and fast
#3. Elusiveness and short area quickness
#4. Mental toughness and fearless
#5. Contact balance

Catch is right tho, does he have what it takes mentally.

Ricky Watters was also a college WR for the first couple of years.

Time will tell but I like the idea of him as FB, Kyle could get freaky with a 4.33 FB.

That's an odd spellcheck error lol, funny though, I was like WTF? Good laugh though, spellcheck can be odd, like on my iDevices some swear words get autocorrected.

Nah, he wasn't really dumb, I think he had a learning disorder or something, Frank is very intelligent, he sounded weird when he talked but might have been some disorder, I hold Gore's scouting ability high, one of my favorite 49ers, especially from the Nolan/McCloughan era, right with Staley & Willis. Glad Patrick finally got the HOF induction he deserved for past 3yrs or so, he should have been 1st ballot IMHO.

Gore was dyslexic. But everyone has always said he has a very high football IQ (his vision and pass blocking proved that), and that's all that matters.
Not a fan. Has straight line speed but runs upright and lateral agility doesn't seem to be there. In the zbs he has so make multiple cuts to get to the right space. Lets guys get under his pads for easy tackles. Despite his size gets taken down easily. Seen him get tackled by dbs on some bad teams. Probably due to his lumbering running between the tackles.
