Not a fan. Has straight line speed but runs upright and lateral agility doesn't seem to be there. In the zbs he has so make multiple cuts to get to the right space. Lets guys get under his pads for easy tackles. Despite his size gets taken down easily. Seen him get tackled by dbs on some bad teams. Probably due to his lumbering running between the tackles.

They liked his overall skillset and his athleticism obviously. We'll see, he can catch, run, block, maybe they develop him as FB if he can't cut it as a RB

I believe Gore had a severe form of dyslexia.

Yeah. Imagine all those OCs and HCs he went through. He was great at pass protection and knew the playbooks in and out. He was smart, just not in the traditional math science sense. Learning a new playbook and mastering it is hard. Many people can't do it. Plus he was smart enough to take care of his body and work out and eat right. Some people sit at a desk and eat donuts and work on spreadsheets and write email and get fat. Who is the smart one?

Yeah later rounds they seem to be looking for athletes they can teach technique to. Which is fair. I'd prefer a guy who can play now especially at a position like rb.

That'll be Cody Schrader. He was in the Heisman discussion for a reason.

That depends. Most college players aren't really ready for the NFL. The overall speed is an adjustment and every team has it's style and terminology. ISome players learn quickly and some never do.

Lynch and Kyle getting the toys for Brock
someone posted his per game touches videos to YouTube...this dude has a nice habit of turning his back in short yardage to make sure his knees dont go down before the ball...some times he spins out the tackle, some times he goes down...either way seems to at least be thinking about ball placement in short yardage.

This dude is going to rock.

I have watched most of his games (his touches)......dude.....this guy is going to be fine in the NFL. I don't think he is an instinctual runner, this dude is a thinker.

If he struggles in the NFL, it is going to be indecisiveness at the snap....a lack of trust that the hole will open when and were he expected it to. Everything past that this guy has. I would say the dude is at least a 7 of 10 for finding his blocks and letting his block..well...block. I would say the dudes Vision is at least a 7 out of 10 as well...the dude finds day light and exploits it. I would say the dude is at least an 8 out of 10 for that 3 to10 yard burst...when he gets in a straight line he needs two steps and he is gone.

He is not a frank gore, shot out of a cannon type back...he does not have nearly the same first step, or second step for that matter....he is much closer to Ricky Watters in that second gear acceleration, with a better 3rd gear.

We need to get Frank Gore to give/show good advice.

One thing, I think some might have missed, was when Frank revealed why he lasted so long in the league. He said he knew how to angle and land to avoid hard hits. He said he rarely rarely got hit by a huge hit he couldn't absorb or turn with.

"Rookie running back Isaac Guerendo is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his hamstring after going down in the 49ers' first practice of training camp on Wednesday."

He supposedly has hammy issues in college and an injury so early hurts his chances of making the roster. Hopefully the MRI turns out clean.
