RB is the most plug and play position in the NFL. We will find out if Guerendo is the real deal, real quick. He's got the speed and the hands. If he can handle the protections, we'll be fine. I'd love an 18-20/10-12 split for Mason and Guerendo.

Not that we need to follow what Miami does but in spite of having Mostert and Jeff Wilson, they got Achane in there last year.

On another note, I totally forgot about Patrick Taylor. As long as we can make teams respect the run, we should be okay.
PTJr is a big dude at 6'1''.. we should use all 3 to beat up everyone. leave Deebo catching balls

This. We have multiple, very good running backs. Deebo should not be potentially running into piles in the backfield.

Kyle has a record and that's driving RB's into the ground.

He's the OC on game day and I think he can lose track of the RB load when he's doing that. Being OC puts you in a tactical mindset whereas being just a HC on gameday, I think, gives you more of a strategic view. I think if he delegated the playcalling duties - he can manage the time-out issues and RB load issues better. Tough to say what is better though since he's such a great play caller. I guess you take the good with the Bad.

He's an OC that has too many toys lol. Yes, CMC is the best toy of them all, but the other guys are good too. Like really good. Make the defenses have to worry about everything and everyone all the time- which means using Juice, Guerendo, Kittle, Cowing and even Aiyuk. Aiyuk is a huge threat, but he's not the top target. Deebo and CMC are.

One of the problems with having so many really good players like CMC, Aiyuk and Deebo is you often forget to let som other good players get some reps. It isn't just about giving the starters a breather. Bringing in a different back or a different receiver offers a change of pace. It can throw the defense off a little since they may not be sure what you're planning to do. Even if it's just a few plays here and there.

How is his pass blocking?

Shanny will not play you if you can't pass block

its solid imo. he'd be good as a third down back. as a converted WR he can catch and his vertical is well documented

IF he ain't a GREAT pass blocker, then get him on those swing passes.. the guy has natural talent, may not be a breakaway back but he can play... if Shanny uses him and get him some carries while giving BABY BEAST MODE some breather, CMC may not be needed until after the 8th game!!

GO NINERSSSS !!!

Absolutely this! We all know Deebo likely will miss games due to injury; need to try and delay that as much as possible while CMC is out. Isaac should be RB2 and KR, not Deebo
I was hoping we'd get Bucky Irving, who I loved at Oregon. Bucky went a few picks earlier, and the Bucs are now in love with him.

This guy seems to fit the Shannahan mould though. We'll hopefully get to see him play soon.
Drafted for 5 players all year lol
Ran into a wall of players on his only carry. Would like to see him get a screen pass or something. Get this big fast kid out in space.

Indeed. The young guys have talent. Let it shine. Granted you can't expect it to work weekly if you only trust them to do so much, but at least initially you can use their speed to give the team a spark.

He's more of an outside space guy with speed. Not slam into the middle of the pile.
CMC and Guerrendo in the backfield in a pro set

Easy swing passes to the left or right are possible

If the LBs cheat up the WRs are behind them with quick slants etc.

This is old Bill Walsh football I remember as a kid...would love to see KS use these concepts again
