What the f**k are you talking about? Dude wasn't patient enough to wait for the lane to open. It was the same s**t in college. This has absolutely nothing to do about Kyle.

cool your 220lbs and you run a 4.3, doesn't matter if you have zero vision as a RB. Also for a guy that big, he's actually pretty bad at breaking tackles from what I saw.

Bobby Turner has to coach him up much like he did with Mason.

And I don't know if that's something you can teach. Mason's vision on the other hand is top notch.
how can we judge IG from just one carry.. lol

Exactly , can't judge off of one carry

Uh...hes had more than one carry in college. His college film is littered with lack of vision, stumbling through holes and looking much slower and less dynamic than what his athletic scores are.

I dont get the whole "cant judge off of one carry" as if the carries in the preseason and college were not carries.

Mason wasn't dynamic in his first few carries but he's gotten a lot better with more carries

IG film had a lot of runs where there are no holes but I guess it's his fault

Um, he's a rookie.

If he was forced to play more often, he might get into a rhythm. I'm not worried.

Just hope his pass protection game is rapidly improving..

So are we looking at the next Sermon or Davis Price?

Mason isn't really a dynamic back.

He's a power back with great cut/change of direction ability due to his feet and someone who can break tackles.

He's played like that in college too except he wasnt a one-cut back but more of a Laveon Bell style.

Even then, Kyle marinated him on the bench for like two years before he fully trusted him. And who knows if CMC was fully healthy if Kyle would give him more carries.

Guerendo doesn't have any of the cutting or power ability that Mason has. Most tackles he broke in college are simply becahse he was a lot bigger than a lot of safeties/corners. He tries to bounce too many runs outside. He's a converted WR who lacks vision and I don't know if his football iq is that great.

But anyway. My point is we aren't judging him just off one carry as you are implying.

I think what the Niners envisioned him to be is a KR ST who can contribute as a third down back/depth.

I think he's a better receiver and pass blocker than Mason.
I kinda see him as the understudy for Juice as the future FB.

lol that's why I said he'll get 5 carries all year
He looks very raw from the little I've seen from him.

I agree, but to be fair they were probably hoping they wouldn't need to use him this year.

I doubt it.

Lynch and co. can call him Juice an OW all they want but he's a FB at the end of the day. His run blocking, his awareness, ability to pick up the correct blocking assignments, that takes years to get good at, even if you've been playing FB since high school/college. Which IG hasn't...

Isaac being good all the little things as well is highly doubtful. Maybe as a long term project? But we didn't just spend a 4th round pick on a long term project FB.

did you even watch the game ? he ONLY had ONE carry.. you expected him to gain 10 yards off that ?? he's a rookie, he's allowed to be tackled behind the line scrimmage for only ONE carry..

- Also for a guy that big, he's actually pretty bad at breaking tackles from what I saw - ... so why don't you blame Shanny?
