Not a good sign.

I mean yeah. That was on film. His film for his ridiculous measurements #s was very underwhelming. You could see he's not a natural RB

He's had like 3 carries. Wtf. How can you tell. Kid was probably nervous and protecting the ball. It sometimes takes a bit to find your rhythm. WAAAY TO EARLY TO JUDGE. lol.

Yeah way to early to draw conclusions. I think he'll be ok as the #2.

I'll die on that hill

He runs like a big dude

He does not however....run with power

I hope he gets a lot more burn, love that pick. He had a ton of 3rd down back snaps in college, if he can pass block and be a target out of the backfield in the NFL he will be a heck of a pick-up

I get not leaning into the utility of a rookie that missed time in training camp, dude has a ton of work to do but the future could be bright for this dude

I was referring to stuff I have seen on his college film. You know what film is ?The issues I mentioned have nothing to do with rhythm.

People on here act like players come into this league with a blank state of things. That isn't how it works. There is tape available on games players played in college and if you are willing to sit in play in play out and watch the player (and not highlights/lowlights) there are patterns that stand out. That's how scouting works and that's how certain players get picked before other players.

Can a player develop significantly ? Yeah sure. But stuff that is consistent on film in college usually doesn't go away effortlessly and if same issues persist that is an issue.

Clearly not being a natural runner, with weak cutback game and subpar football agility is tough to fix/improve. He can be a weapon with his athletic measurables but again, same issues hes had in college he manifested throughout the preseason game and the little bit we've seen of him so far in regular season. Coaches aren't magically teaching Brandon Jacobs to run like Reggie Bush, so to speak. And coaches couldn't teach Trent Richardson to find and hit holes like Frank Gore could.

On top of that categorizing a player is not even a bad thing....

He is who he is.....

It is not a knock on the guy to say he is not about to Natron Means or Christian Okoye his way over people in the NFL. That is not who he is. The guy is not a low pad level dude who runs with power.

I love the pick, and love the dude as a prospect.....but we are not talking about the next coming of Frank Gore.

I think he has a better cutback game then you do it appears, I think he has the vision for it...but he is not very sudden and does not shift gears instantly....and that might be what you are saying...he does not plant and go.

He runs upright and doesn't have that much lateral agility. That was apparent in college and he seems to be the same. RBs can get away with bulldozing college guys but in the nfl that won't cut it.

He can still improve but so far its more of the same.
I want this dude used in the pass game in the same mindset as CMC. Why has Shanny not put him in mismatch situations in the passing game?

I too think that is his future...a Poorman's Ricky Watters.....

I can only guess that, CMC has the most complicated play book on the entire team. He has rushing plays, blocking plays and tons of option routs....

What I really want to see if he is as good a pass blocker in the NFL as he showed in college. If he can be that rock solid pass blocker...the sky is the limit for the kid as a utility 3rd down back. He ran some deeper passing routs in college, he has some ability to run the ball, he has NFL break away speed....The guy can be a positive impact player...he needs to study and go all in, because he has a REAL shot at a second contract in the NFL...

Isaac may produce better if you use him like delanie walker.
My first impression was Forrest Gump - Run you dumb SOB

Seems like he finds a straight line and just runs.
Kyle needs to scheme some plays for Guerendo in the passing game where you can get him in open space and where he only needs to make 1 guy miss.
What a clunker man. Nice fumble deep and giving them 7.

Careless with the ball

Judging by what Kyle just said in the presser, Guerendo is headed to the doghouse.

He is not CMC. Nobody is.
