Agree. I still can't believe Shanahan even liked him. His indecisiveness at the line was a glaring flaw on tape. That's as bad of a flaw as you can have for running in this scheme.

If he can't learn to read blocks, he's not gonna make it. He's big and fast, but that means nothing if you can't play with vision.

Im just mad they aren't using him in the passing game. That was always his best attribute and the reason I liked him.

Put him in there on passing downs and use him similar to CMC. that's what I want to see. Could make him and Mason a dynamic 1-2 if he performs in the passing game like I expect

Well, he's definitely more physically gifted than both of those dudes, especially Sermon. He has that at least going for him.

Look at (WR) Gray, he's only purpose was to be Lance's Cheetah, and since that did not work out, Shanny started to ring the BELL.. then this year, he drafts COW only to let him watch more of BELL...

Speaking of BELL, I'm not sure how he beat out TRENT TAYLOR..

Mostert was good by year 2 (2018) in this system. In year 1, I don't even think he got many opportunities. This isn't a knock on Guerendo. Just defending Mostert.

I think his true value will come once he can do it all, block, routs, and rushes... Dudes long term value is as a 3rd down back... I personally do not think he has the vision problem that others think he has, I am wondering tho if he is just slower on the pick up....he is not getting touches or many snaps for a reason, and I wonder if it has anything to do with him digesting the playbook.

We will see, but I am still very optimistic on this dude....but he can't be a rookie, Shanny will not tolerate rookie mistakes....this team is barely floating with a trillion dollars spent on offense a mistake here or there can still loose games.
