That's the problem. It's wide zone, not power. Guerendo needs to read his aimpoints starting with EMOL and press the front side with patience. They've been teaching the same scheme for 30 years now.

These are the type of runs that Mostert with patiently press and take to the house. Guerendo has a long ways to go.
took mostert years to learn.. IG just needs more reps

Mostert was good by year 2 (2018) in this system. In year 1, I don't even think he got many opportunities. This isn't a knock on Guerendo. Just defending Mostert.
2.5 years before the 9ers and 2.5 years in the 49ers system before his break season in 2019

RM needed time.. IG looks like he needs Reps/time.. unfortunately the NFL doesn't like to wait

That doesn't mean he wasn't good in 2018. Breida was just ahead of him. But 2018 was a good year for him, then he got hurt. The time before he was even in Kyle's system are irrelevant to me. With that said, I think Guerendo will have to be intentionally put in favorable situations to maximize what he can do for now and then maybe after some time in this system, he can really expand what he can do.

i'm just pointing out that it took him some time.. which is hard to get when in the NFL

Lot of work to do. Lots of raw skill. We'll see how he looks between now and mid-season next year.

nyhahahahah... NY hiding again... DON'T you hate it when I prove you WRONG once again !!! lol... told you G-Boy good !!
Very nice run. But how do you get caught with 4.33 speed? LOL

He's a player I feel the more carries he gets, the better he gets. His vision within the game improved as it went on. Really impressed with his pass blocking, ball security and his runs. Should've scored!!! f**k it!

Maybe he got tired. I think he has the speed to out run those guys. Probably should have made the endzone. But it's ok. I will take the long breakaway run.
Let's get some screen plays to Guerendo please!
