Still don`t get this one.
If they hold us to a Field Goal it is a one score game and they get the ball back.
I get it if we can run the time out, but that was not the case.

To me a 12 Point Lead is worth way more than making them use 1 Timeout.
To me, this was a ROOKIE MISTAKE not a Heads Up Play by a Rookie.
Can anyone explain?

Time of possession and the timeout.

But still...only a one score game if we fail to score a td

If Juice didn't a score TD the Seahawks would have had about 25 seconds with no timeouts needing a TD and then a 2 PT conversion. If we would have gotten to 4th down inside the Seahawks 5 I would have actually gone for it instead of kicking the FG and force them to go 95+ yards with less than 30 seconds with no timeouts. Better than going up by 8 and trusting our special teams to not give up a long return. But thankfully it never got to that decision.

And risking a loss by some brainfart like in the Vikings Game with Mustapha, Hufanga and Ward out?

Deebo was laughing about it in the presser, said people on the sideline were yelling at Isaac to go down so he did. Rookie moment, i'm sure he was caught up in the moment

Unlike the Vikings, the Seahawks don't have the GOAT at qb.

You're absolutely right. You take the score there every time.

Going up 12 is worth more than timeouts because they'd need to score a td, win the onside kick, and score another td.

Versus milking timeouts and potentially having to kick a chip shot that can be blocked/missed and isn't a guaranteed thing at all

Very nice run. But how do you get caught with 4.33 speed? LOL

by that moment, he no longer runs a 4.3.. plus, he coulda scored had he wanted to, he slid purposely..

You are correct. He over-thought the moment. But I'll give him credit for having the cogs going full speed upstairs, and for showing selflessness. Worked out okay. Looking forward to his first NFL score.
Because of that 76 yard run he now averages 6.4 yards per carry on the season lol.
played well last night, not as sharp as Moster but extra power.
Well this game was a confidence boost for him for sure and JP needs the help because Taylor tip toes too much in the backfield for my taste as big as he is

Its kind of unnerving people on the sideline also thought the right move was to go down. We were only up 5 and they had two timeouts left. Esp if you consider our redzone woes, if we didn't score a td we were depending on a kicker we just signed off the street who was also injured to kick a fg to put us up only by 8.

Coach needs to be on top of things like this. Like hey, always score unless the coaches tell you not to.

No reason at all to go down there. Just score the TD. Another TD doesn't hurt there. Even helps. No reason to be looking at the sideline either when you are running for a TD. Concentrate on the game.
