I was not expecting that from him, but good to know we have another Rb that Is more than capable of making a big play if needed.

He hadn't shown much until last night but Whitner talked a little about hm after the game. He said that he hadn't had a lot of experience in college as a RB and he was just getting used to the speed and hits in t NFL. He started to gain confidence with more carries and made a couple of nice runs prior to that long one.

I think it's clear as day he went down on purpose. If he's trying to score he would've went head 1st and dove for the end zone instead of sliding

I think the fact that Deebo was mad-joking saying he shouldn't have never let Juice have that TD made it pretty evident he slid.

Agree, but if it was on purpose he may have thought by being tripped up he was headed out of bounds and slid to keep the clock running.

You get tired. Lol.

Maybe he got tired. I think he has the speed to out run those guys. Probably should have made the endzone. But it's ok. I will take the long breakaway run.

Some of u guys are never satisfied lol. But here i'll explain it for u: its harder to run absolute top speed while carrying the football. Someone same speed as u or even a bit slower can catch u from behind purely based off not carrying the ball and having the ability to pump both if their arms

Nah, his form broke down. Devon Witherspoon, the CB who caught him, ran a 4.45 at the combine. It's not surprising that a guy 40lbs lighter might lose in the 40 yard dash but win in the 75-100 yard dash.

40 yard times are BS. Those guys shed weight sometimes and train to get a good tme. It doesn't always translate to the field. Deebo had a 4.48 time but his top speed on his TD pass was clocked a little higher than Guerendo.

Deebo had a much faster 10 yard split so it's not surprising that he has a higher top speed.

A lot of combine times (40, splits etc) aren't valid because they train specifically for speed. They wear shorts instead of football gear. Remember when Vernon Davi ran a 4.35 40. He never looked that fast on the field.
Others will disagree, but he is similar to Mostert in
how he runs. One cut and go. He even seems to glide like Mostert does when he runs.
Let us not act like full retards here. Guerrendo was told to get down and thus he did. He could have easily scored had he wanted to

After Samuel's initial comments on the "Thursday Night Football" broadcast, Samuel playfully doubled down on his reaction to Guerendo surrendering his first touchdown.

"I don't know why he didn't score, I would've scored," Samuel said, laughing. "He said he was looking at the sideline and people were telling him to go down. For what? I don't know. Why he looking at the sideline [while] running anyway?

"But that's just huge. It's kind of like a next-man-up mentality."

In the locker room after the game, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan had fun with Guerendo, too.

"What about the rookies today?" Shanahan said as the team clapped and yelled with excitement. "Malik [Mustapha] got a pick. Renardo [Green] got a pick. What about Isaac giving up his first career touchdown? That was smart, man. Don't let Juice be in your ear!"
Guerendo clearly slowed down and was even looking back pondering when and where he should go down and then he eventually slid down. Unselfish player that is still learning how to be an NFL RB. His run was the game sealing play along with Renardo Green with the INT

Yes he did. His route tree looked more like Ted Ginn than Greg Olsen

He doesn't have Mostert's vision though.

Or his gameday speed. But their running styles are eerily similar, IMO.
