From this fam camera view he looks to be running hard (look at his shoulders) then when passing mid field...he doesn't look to be running as hard. I doubt he got tired that quick.

Maybe just over thought the situation and was planning to get down eventually close to the goal line.

The situation was SCORE for a 2 score lead. Instead of a 1 score lead. No wonder Shanahan collapses so many leads. They had time and timeouts and a 5 point lead was hardly safe with DK Metcalf. A FG was hardly sure with the guy we just signed. That would only be 8 points. Still within a TD and 2 point conversion. The proper move was to SCORE. No reason to over think this.

No one is overthinking this, IG made a mistake by going down

Yeah looks like he is better than Mason at this point.
Just watched 49 Hours (which I always love!) and it is interesting that Greg Papa is calling for Guerendo to go down, and calls it 'perfect' when he does so. I think a lot of people had it on their minds. Still think the right play is to score though.

Special teams is a joke. On the kickoff, they almost broke it again too. Luckily Wright made the tackle and got injured at the same time. If IG scored, and they score another TD on the kickoff, we are back to a one position game with over 1 mins to go and Seattle with 3 timeouts again .

Ya think?

He certainly has more upside. I hope he's real durable

He's not better than Mason. He only runs outside. Inside he's scared of contact and has no vision. Because of speed and running outside he will sometimes break a long one. Mason is the better every down pounder. On the play he got caught. Just like he did with the long kickoff return in the preseason. For some reason despite speed he consistently doesn't finish his runs. With 4.33 speed he should be able to finish both of those with no problem.

I agree with Mason being better. But I dont know how you can possibly form opinions of him such as "he's scared of contact" or "he has no vision" in the limited time you have seen him play. Even "doesnt finish his runs" is a weird comment that you cant possibly know is true at this point.

He did all of those at University of Wisconsin for the Badgers. Which is why he was buried on the depth chart behind Braelon Allen (Badgers - Jets). Then he went to Louisville on a transfer because he couldn't get reps. I have some relatives there and have even been to some Badgers games. This has been known about him for a long time. Lacks the vision inside and doesn't like contact in the middle. He's an outside runner who tries to run away from you. This isn't new. Why he gets caught from behind consistently I don't know? But he has the speed to finish. I'd like to seem him actually finish more often.

No I knew about him before. Even been to games too. This is what he always was. He has value running outside. But not as much inside. Not sure how you can explain his consistently getting caught from behind? He shouldn't with his speed. He should be able to finish some of those when he gets out in the open.
I hope Mason is good to go against those squeefs, IG is definitely learning from him, they can be a good one two punch.

Once CMC gets back. 3 Headed Monster

It's a pretty good 2 backs. 1 pounder. 1 speed. Thunder and Lightning. Who knows when CMC is back?
