If he can't start, we are ridiculously deep into the running back room.

Think about it, the 49ers will be starting their 5th RB on the depth chart.

I like his use in the pass game. He looked fluid as a pass catcher. Getting the ball to him in space is a good thing.

Still needs a little work on his blitz pickup though. RB's that can't pass block are ultimately a liability.

Including yesterday, there have been 3 colossal blunders by him in PP this season. Needs to clean it up

I thought Patrick Taylor looked pretty good as a blocker.

Whitner said0n the post game show that they usually don't allow players to do post game interviews for TV if they're hurt. Guerendo did so maybe that's a good sign.

Plenty for us to be excited about with both IG and PT.
For all those wondering why IG didn't get more opportunities earlier this season I think his unrefined blocking game had something to do with that.

A few weeks ago after his first game fans were saying he sucked. So much for the talent evaluators on this forum.

To his credit; he picked up the blitz yesterday, just got blown the hell up and ran over. Didn't completely whiff so there's progress lol

Front page:
Grant Cohn: IG has a foot injury
Matt Maiocco: IG say foot injury is no big deal.
This sums up our fans these days. Those that are consistently looking for drama (or trying to create it), and those that that are hoping for the best.

Looking like he was just pulled out as a precaution but who knows what that means on a short week. Hopefully if he can't go PT Jr has the game of his life.

He is a rookie, given time I am sure the pass blocking will improve. He has some real glaring signature screw ups, but this is really early in his career
FWIW
Running back Isaac Guerendo finished the game with the team's best pass-blocking grade, earning a mark of 79.1
