Guys, we haven't won a Super Bowl in 30 years so.... relax. It's not the standard here.
I saw the 94' team. We are not there yet.

FWIW worth his RAS wasn't a 9.97.
It was a 9.90 after he completed the BPress:

Please, whoever is clamoring for Jordan Mason, at least think about why Kyle doesn't use him. He's of little value as a third-down back. He can't pass protect, and his ability to run routes is meh at best. This guy we just got is a respected pass blocker and a former WR who converted out of college, so he brings a good floor of skills to the backfield with additional upside. He compliments Mason perfectly should anything happen to CMC or Mitchell (for whom it probably will).
Kyle has to get over that. Just because a player has a certain weakness doesn't mean you block him from getting on the field and contributing in his strengths.
You can't expose your QB with a RB that can't pass protect. Didnt Lawrence Phillips teach us anything? I think Mason can be used more (5 carries a game), but it's only going to be obvious running situations.

In just watching their highlights, I have this strange feeling Schrader is going to beat out Guerendo just like how Mason beat out TDP. Guerendo is the better receiver but Schrader is the clear cut better runner. 1 cut & go.

Kyle's stubbornness holds back all this talent. We should be much better. He is his own worse enemy.
And sure... the fans.. the media...etc kiss his ass.. but behind closed doors.. he knows he's f**ked up too many times in the biggest moments.
There was ZERO reason to recieve in OT in this past Super Bowl... yet some f**king how, Kyle just thinks he's so smart and f**ks up a simple decision.

With that weight and speed, DBs will get hurt tackling this dude at full speed. He adds a couple more pounds of lean muscle, he'll be real scary. CMC, IG and another back (maybe Mason) will be the 3 headed monster DCs fear leading up to the game (4 headed monster with Juice)

I love this pick....but this fella does not appear...to me...to be a guy that consistently punishes the tackler.
He does have many instances of lowering his body and going out delivering contact, but it is not emmit smith or Walter Payton levels of impact.
This guy does not run behind his pads, delivering contact.....again my opinion...but I see Marcus Allen, head up..stiff arm... take contact on the chest type of runner.
I like the player in general, but dude...for a zone blocking team like the 49ers? This is a 100% fit running style.
If someone asked me to create a perfect RB for this team....I would say give me a 220 pound dude with wheels that keeps his eyes up, that can navigate traffic and has above average ability to impact 3rd down through the passing game.....
That is pretty much what he did in college...
In an absolute perfect world....maybe we would want a tad more Ricky Watters ex WR in his background....but I love what we do have in the guy.

He's probably the best RB on the roster not CMC. Why wouldn't he be used?

Yeah he's just taken to this team to 4 NFC championship games and 2 SB's in 4 of the last 5 years. What a trainwreck. It should be 5 straight NFC championships with 3 SB appearances and 2 wins or fired. Everyone knows that is the floor for any decent coach. Winning SB's is a piece of cake, Just look at the Bills. They have maybe the 2nd best QB in all of football and look at all those conference championships and SB's they have been making and winning in the last 5 years. Oh wait. Or how about every team outside of the Chiefs?
Niners have lost 2 SB's to the Chiefs but if beating the Chiefs is suppose to be so easy why can't the AFC teams stop them from making the conference championship and SB every year?

Kyle knows that CMC Is the star of the offense and will utilise him as much as possible.
The Rb we drafted could turn out to be pretty good, but the question Is, will he get enough opportunities to prove himself?

Wonder if he can eventually be Juice's replacement too.

On my mind as well. Seems to have the size. Interested to see his blocking ability.
