He didn't have better numbers though ?

What I like about cowing is how polished he is coming out. His route running and all of that is very mature for him being a rookie

only downside to him is that by the time his rookie contract is up - he will be turning 27 turning 28. lol but that isn't a big deal.

im very excited for him and hope he can stay healthy - we've needed someone with his speed for a while, one that can get open on the field. Lol

It's obvious they made a huge effort to draft guys that can contribute NOW and down the road. Without doing any looking I'd be willing to bet they have the oldest average age among drafted guys.
Cowing is a steal, he was one of the best players on what turned out to be a very good AZ team, and was the heartbeat of that locker room.

maybe, it's def possible. On average - we have the oldest roster in the nfl with an average age of 27.

Covid kinda changed everything with college ball - tons of guys coming out at 24-26 now.
This young man has a lot of talent and can really help us in the march for #6. Gray and Taylor - gone!
I've seen enough. Another late round gem.

The biggest question is will he be able to shed defenders and compete for catches against bigger DBs. If nothing else he's an effective return man and an occasional weapon for end sweeps.

With all the other talent we have (If Aiyuk does stay here) Cowing will probably be forgotten about by most defenses. So he will have his shot to succeed since defenses won't be singling him out.

You can only have so many receivers in the game at once. If Cowing is in then that means Aiyuk or Deebo is out. Defenses aren't going to forget about him.

I live in El Paso. He was here at utep for a couple of seasons. He was lights out and the best player on the team. It doesn't surprise me to see him playing the way he did yesterday.

Thanks for sharing.

He seemed to be playing a lot faster than everyone else on the field yesterday.

I agree, he is 5'8"? I wont be screaming get rid of BA.

However, as a compliment to Deebo, BA, Kittle etc. Kyle can run new formations with him in there and boy can he take the top off and open a defense. Purdy will need to hit him deep a few times early in the season to make Defensive coordinators poopy when they review our film.
