I think blocking is his biggest question and biggest hurdle to get on the field.

Especially as a slot WR where he could find himself having to put a body on an OLB, or cracking a DE.

He looks like a star you could line up in the slot. He has speed, quickness, route running, good hands, after the catch ability.
There was some WR about 2 years ago during the preseason that beasted out with Trey Lance. Can't remember him. Anyways I'll form an opinion about Clowing once he plays some regular season games

Let me tell you guys a few things. The highlights at Arizona are nothing compared to his highlights at UTEP. This guy was an giant among boys. He was easily the best player in the conference and it wasn't close. I live in El Paso and told you all about Aaron Jones when he got drafted... We get like 1 player every 5 years or so that is just insanely talented. I was hurt emotionally when he transferred to AZ but it clearly got him drafted. We have pretty much 0 QB play here (sorry garret) and opposing defenses knew to stop Cowing and it would be over. This guy will make the roster , he's a good kid and plays hard. Has a knack for the position. Aaron Jones but in WR form. I could not be more stoked that a UTEP Miner is on the 49ers now!!! LFG!!!!!
Ill take my bow now....

For saying a 4th round pick will make the team? Really going all out on that one.

I got time today. Every Jacob Cowing touch (minus the returns) in Week 3 of the NFL Preseason. For the uninitiated. pic.twitter.com/FoembN8pgh

Jacob Cowing on his big play today [38-yard catch] and his potential to be a deep threat

I love the late hands and aggression at the catch point. Waits until the last second to attacks the ball and then rips it away to secure the grab.

I appreciate the acknowledgement. You are certainly welcome for my wisdom.

TRADE Deevah already... we have 23 and 83 to do all the work Deevah does.. Send both Deevah and Yuck to Buffalo... uhmmm maybe Jagz.. they'll need them..

Your constant underestimation and hate of Deebo is astonishing really.

He is 5'9 170, so he isn't going to look as physically imposing as some.

I think with the rules changes protecting WRs, 170 lbs in the old dynasty days is equivalent to today's 200-pound WRs.
Jacob looks like a keeper on the 53 for sure, in my book.
