Because he did, and he ran routes as #3 and even #2 for Purdy and couldn't get open. I liked what I saw but when going against #1s and with Brock under C, he didnt really flash. Once Dobbs got in and Saints got some backups out there, he started flashing...

Still, the speed and route-running look good.

He's a keeper on the 53 in my book. He'll stretch the field for Brock. He'll make it easier for guys like Kittle and Deebo.

We do this every year where we crown a preseason champ. Let's pump the brakes on Cowing a bit. Plus we have Danny Gray
Didn't Cowing limp off the field at the end of practice?

I cannot tell if you are using Danny Gray in a positive manner or to reiterate not crowning any preseason champs lol

Danny Gray. The guy that keeps popping up on this forum but hasn't done anything. His main quality is he can run fast in a straight line.

You called it, that was your man and he delivered!

No, he needs a faster number.

Word him and Ricky when we do cutdowns
19 is avail..possibly 11

i like 19 for Pearsall and 13 for Cowing if it's not taken

I think he really doesn't know what he just did

I guess we will just have to cut the current #13.

something tells me the current 13 will not make it to our practice squad....

Lmaoooo I'm sorry I'm fried 😆😭

Haha, yeah. Remember that jet sweep he took? Looked like trying to turn a boat a high speed.

GRAY - was drafted to be Lance's cheetah... that's how Shanny envisioned them.. he didn't care about his in ability to run a simple Ins and Outs..

It straight line speed was really that important someone would have signed Usain Bolt. I believe he had a tryout and lasted one day.

All these guys come in with talent and know how to run routes, but doing it in the NFL humbles a lot of kids when they step onto that field.

Routes are usually simpler in college and they aren't asked to block like they are in the NFL. Plus the DBs aren't as good. Most ollege teams might have one good DB. In the NFL they're all as good or better than anyone they face in college.
