One thing that sounded weird to me is everyone saying that Cowing was great once he's got in the game, and saying he didnt play right away. Because he did, and he ran routes as #3 and even #2 for Purdy and couldn't get open. I liked what I saw but when going against #1s and with Brock under C, he didnt really flash. Once Dobbs got in and Saints got some backups out there, he started flashing...
Still, the speed and route-running look good.
He's a keeper on the 53 in my book. He'll stretch the field for Brock. He'll make it easier for guys like Kittle and Deebo.
We do this every year where we crown a preseason champ. Let's pump the brakes on Cowing a bit. Plus we have Danny Gray
I cannot tell if you are using Danny Gray in a positive manner or to reiterate not crowning any preseason champs lol
Danny Gray. The guy that keeps popping up on this forum but hasn't done anything. His main quality is he can run fast in a straight line.
Haha, yeah. Remember that jet sweep he took? Looked like trying to turn a boat a high speed.
GRAY - was drafted to be Lance's cheetah... that's how Shanny envisioned them.. he didn't care about his in ability to run a simple Ins and Outs..
It straight line speed was really that important someone would have signed Usain Bolt. I believe he had a tryout and lasted one day.
I still remember many of Shannanygans kept posting that DEEVAH was one heck of a route runner... and that's because Shanny coached him in that Senior Bowl.. I wonder if all of them still find him that way..
pathetic
