I think Cowing's speed would scare me if I'm a blitzing team. Brock is so accurate, that even with a - what I think is an above average (but not great) arm, his average yards per completion is incredible. His average per completion is like he has a cannon for an arm.

I think just Cowing's speed alone plus Brock's accuracy is going to destroy a lot of blitzing defenses, or so I hope.

It should but hasn't happened enough yet. We just need a nice 20+ yard catch from Cowing on a blitz to give DCs something to think about.

I just don't understand why Ronnie Bell is on the field and not Cowing, seriously the staff didn't watch the pre-season? It's not like Bell was impressive in Camp either since almost every beat writer had him cut or being the 6th WR on the 53 players roster. I'm not saying Cowing is Jerry Rice, he's probably a role player at the end of the day but I trust him more than Bell.

Shanahan is just being stubborn and ridiculous if he won't put in Cowing now. With the injuries we can't separate. Our guys are covered like a glove. Cowing consistently runs good patters, has speed, quickness, catches (passes - I didn't say anything about punts). He's just what we need right now with CMC and Deebo out. Hope he will wise up. Sick of Kyle being so stubborn. We need him now. Put him in. He will get open and make some big plays. Lean into him for a few weeks.

Yea Bells preseason was not good, but the dude hustles his ass off and gets after it in the blocking game. I think that's what kept him on the roster. I mean it sure as hell wasn't his hands lol
