We got something in him and Pearsall. Let them ball.

The way Yuk was playing this year these guys are better. It's addition by subtraction. The problem is the cap hit, guaranteed money and he will never be the same. But this year strangely we could be better off.

I'm not willing to make the wild leap of faith that somehow losing your all-pro wide receiver makes you better this season.
He was rusty, bad drops... but he's a proven talent and absolutely would have gained his footing as the season progressed. Hell, he had a 8 catches for over 147 yards against Arizona.
Pearsall has had no pre-season, was considered a reach for a first round pick, suffered the phsyical and mental trauma of being shot, and at best, is a short to mid range possession receiver. Cowing is a project who has the speed and talent but who knows.
Saying they're better than Brandon Aiyuk is madness.

Cowing needs to be a big part of the offense moving forward. He should be featured. Knowing KS he will keep him buried behind Conley and Bell.

Hope Kyle can mold his offense around his talent vs just continuing to beat our heads against the wall and force everything.

Cowing should not come off the field. He is our only deep threat and should have been worked in several games ago.

It took like Aiyuk four games in his rookie season to start. I can see the same for Cowing.

We already know what Conley and Bell can do. I want to see more Pearsall and Cowing.

Cowing is our best separator and get him some damn jet sweeps and screens. For f**k sake Kyle, play a rookie and watch the impact he has.
I've loved this guy since we drafted him and think he could be better than Pearsall

Mentioned this at draft time but wonder how much of his playing time is impacted by his knowledge of the run plays and ability to run block

A lot but then Kyle needs to put him in during pass plays. He's a shifty quick wr that can get open and the best deep threat we've had in years

I would use him more on mid range crossing patterns and let him get some YAC. Brock can't consistently hit these fast guys in stride on really long throws sideline throws.

I've been wondering what the hell happened to the jet sweeps for years now. Kyle abandoned them after 2019 season. I don't get it. Sean McVay still dials them up.
There's no reason Jacob Cowing can't thrive in this offense doing the Deebo stuff(ie tunnel screen, jet sweeps, smoke screens, etc). We've seen it before with Taylor Gabriel. All of the easy button stuff that Shanny does with Deebo(except the RB stuff) he did with Taylor Gabriel in Atlanta. The added element is that Gabriel and Cowing are legitimate downfield threats.
