Who is Cowing? I came here to read about Lamar, Allen, Brock and big arms and big co--ks.
I know Pearsall is itching to have a break out game, but Jacob could be the bell Cow in yards and TDs today
Was hoping he'd be out there more as a WR, instead saw bell and Conley

Conley made some crucial plays with the Niners so I'm not mad to see him on the field but yeah Bell shouldn't be on the roster right now. This offense needs playmakers like Cowing, not whatever Ronnie Bell is.

Yeah and Conley gets after it in run blocking; I'm willing to bet that is the reason he sees the field
Slightly better at the punt returns. But still scares me there. He's a better receiver than return man.

This kid is fast for sure. The issue i have with Punt returns if I feel like hes on ice.. He literally losses his feet 80% of the time.

Probably a product of that quick first step. He probably needs some custom special cleats with special spikes but he hasn't figured it out yet and no coach has corrected it.

I am guessing how hard he plants on takeoff is playing a factor...
Like a lot of us, I am just hoping he gets more run post bye.

Need to use this guy like zay flowers.
Not sure why Shanahan continues to use Conley and Bell. All of 3 catches and 26 yards to thier names. Bell can't catch a cold and Conley brings very little to the table. Cowing is a crisp route runner has amazing speed if blocking is the issue then why draft a 5'11" 170 pound soaking wet WR with 4.3 speed. Draft a big bodied dude who can block.

Ronnie Bell might run good routes and block, but the guy just doesn't have it on gamedays. I don't know what it is. He lacks concentration. He had a drop problem for a while at Michigan as well. He dropped a big one on a 4th and goal against Penn State in the end zone.

At this point, he's just blocking Cowing's development. Conley is as well. I see Conley get tons of snaps at WR but he barely even gets a target because he's never open. He's a pure ST player...

At least Pearsall is getting some PT.

Based on what Conley was saying in a recent interview it sounds like maybe we're putting too much on Cowing right now. Sounded like we were having him learn all 3 WR spots which is great for his long term but definitely hurts him now when we need him more.
Luter allowed himself to get pushed into the punt returner. Just a terrible play on LUTER. I don't put that one on him. You can't allow that to happen. Actually hit him and was so close bumping up against him. Threw off the vision and timing of the catch. That was a disaster. But you can't allow yourself to get muscled into the return man. That's just a mess. I put that almost all on Luter.
