I mean we still took a WR in the 1st anyways so not sure why that's important to point out lol

Because they're different types of receivers.

Like RB, maybe the late round pick is the one that pans out

I thonk Cowing is gonna be what Shanahan thought Danny Gray was gonna be.

We shoud be more excited about this pick

I think we nabbed two excellent receivers in this draft. We arguably got the two best route runners and quickest/shiftiest guys.

tons of talented WRs in this draft and I think we came away with two that fit our system perfectly, while adding an element we haven't had with Jennings as our third guy.

Because people wanted Worthy because he's fast. Cowing is a similar prospect who actually has some dog in him, runs better routes imo and cost a 10th of the draft capital. Ricky is a totally different WR than Worthy.

it was never about not taking a WR in the first, it was using a 1st on Worthy.

So is Ricky in the first >>>>> Worthy in the 1st as well?

A lot of people, fans, media, pundits alike, question using a 1st on Ricky all the same

As a Gator I love Ricky but I think DeJean was a better pick for the Niners

Before the draft I was against using the first round pick on a WR and nothing has changed with this selection. I'm a Niner fan so I hope it works out.

That was who I would've gone with too. Time will tell who's the better player

I concur. This guy is going to be a menace when he gets on the field
Anyone know where Cowing lined up during OTAs? I'm curious to see if we'll see him at the ZWR. Shanny can use his speed from there to create chaos with motions.

Any of y'all hear about how Cowing is doing in camp so far?

He's injured
Glad he's back and had a few good days at practice.
Think he could be a huge weapon for us this year.

Very different type of weapon we haven't had here in a long time.

Wouldn't be a bit surprised if they IR him and keep Danny Gray

Yea at this point if Gray can't get on the field I'm not sure it's ever gonna happen. I think Cowing is a lock to make the team and hopefully they can get some impact out of him in 2024.

I don't know why, but this made me laugh way more than it should have, 😎
