The way SEA used Red Bryant in their 4-3 Under was very unique. He was a big ass mofo but they stuck him at strongside DE. I don't think the 49ers envision this guy at DE.

Agree, but I can see him at the 2i position and basically is the tree stump in the middle of that defense that stops middle runs. That helps the defense seal the inside and make the opposing offense go outside and let the speedy 49er defense use the sideline as a 12th man to stop the runs.

Favorite UDFA signing in a long time where I truly think they will contribute right away. For a guy to slim down 30 lbs in a season shows a guy who is focused and determined to be better. Excited to see this dude clogging the line for years to come.

He slimmed down from 370 since arriving at FAU.

I was thinking the same exact thing. He knows he's on borrowed time and if he gets injured, we will have no more patience for that!
