The 49ers do not have to carry OL Jon Feliciano or DL Kalia Davis on their initial 53-man roster. With new NFL rule, two players on each team can be placed on injured reserve on cut-down day and designated for return. Those are two moves the 49ers will make today.

Two of the three kickers drafted last season are getting cut today, per reports: NE's Chad Ryland (4th rd) and GB's Anders Carlson (6th rd). The third, of course, is Jake Moody (3rd rd).
