I dont see Ya-Sin as a lock. Everyone else I agree on.

You forgot about Jordan Elliot who the Niners signed this offseason and gave him a 2 year deal worth $10 million.
With the new qb rule, Allen goes to the practice squad.

Only if the 3rd QB off the PS doesn't count towards the games the PS player can be active for, if so, I agree Allen could be on the PS, which opens a roster spot for someone you might lose off waivers, plus Allen doesn't have to go thru waivers.
What happened to Manning? Not invited to camp?
OT looks weak, definitely need to sign or trade for a better back-up OT

Ilm Manning? I think he got poached last season by I think CAR.

  1. QB Brock Purdy(2025)
  2. QB Joshua Dobbs(2024)
  3. QB Brandon Allen(2024)
  4. RB Christian McCaffrey(2025)
  5. RB Isaac Guerendo(2027)
  6. FB Kyle Juszczyk(2025)

  39. PK Jake Moody(2026)
  40. P Mitch Wishnowsky(2026)
  41. LS Taybor Pepper(2025)

So, 41 locks, with Dre being the guy that would make it just 40 if he begins on PUP, so 13 potential roster spots open.

The following are close to being on the roster or as of now have the best shot to make the final 53.

  1. RB Elijah Mitchell(2024)
  2. RB Jordan Mason(2024)
  3. RB Patrick Taylor Jr.(2024)
  4. WR Chris Conley(2024)
  5. WR Trent Taylor(2024)
  6. WR Ronnie Bell(2026)
  7. WR Danny Gray(2025)

  18. DE Robert Beal Jr.(2026)
  19. DT T.Y. McGill Jr.(2024)
  20. NT Kalia Davis(2025)
  21. NT Evan Anderson(2026)
  22. LB Ezekiel Turner(2024)
  23. LB Jalen Graham(2026)

  26. LB Curtis Robinson(2024)
  27. CB Samuel Womack III(2025)
  28. CB Ambry Thomas(2024)
  29. CB Darrell Luter Jr.(2026)
  30. CB Chase Lucas(2024)
  31. FS Tayler Hawkins(2024)

Yeah 31 players who I think will compete for roster spots in camp this offseason, I added Evan Anderson just because of the huge guarantee they gave him, no he's not locked in, but he should have a legit shot, he'll be a PS guy for sure at worst IMO.

The rest of the roster I see as just camp bodies.

  1. QB Tanner Mordecai(2026)
  2. RB Cody Schrader(2026)
  3. WR Tay Martin(2024)
  4. WR Terique Owens(2026)
  5. TE Jake Tonges(2024)
  6. TE Mason Pline(2026)
  7. C Corey Luciano(2024)
  8. C Drake Nugent(2026)
  9. C Briason Mays(2026)
  10. LT Isaac Alarcon(2024)
  11. LT Sebastian Gutierrez(2024)
  12. DE Alex Barrett(2024)
  13. DE Earnest Brown IV(2024)
  14. DE Austin Bryant(2024)
  15. DE Sam Okuayinonut(2024)
  16. DT Spencer Waege(2024)
  17. DT Raymond Johnson III(2024)
  18. CB Kemon Hall(2024)
  19. FS Jaylen Mahoney(2026)
  20. SS Erik Harris(2024)

FYI, Alacron doesn't count against the offseason 90-man roster, due to the team getting a roster exemption so he'll be on the PS, as he's the International Pathway Program player, like we had with Alfredo Gutierrez, who wasn't signed back, so team needs to cut 1 player when they sign their 8 UDFAs.

I didn't see Javon Kinlaw on your list or the one that was posted above it. Did he get traded or something? I mean I don't really expect he will be on the team much longer, but I haven't heard that they have moved him yet.

DT Javon Kinlaw (Adam Schefter, 1-yr, $7.25M deal w/ Jets)
I think we should just go with two QB's. Last season our #3 QB turned out to be a wasted roster spot. If we go with three QB's we are likely going to cut a decent player at another position. A player we can use more than a #3 QB that will probally never play. I know Fans and the team have PTSD from what happened 2 years ago but that was just a very rare situation. What's the chances of that happening again? And to the same team. If our #3 QB has to play we are screwed anyways.

Posted my first projection for the 2024 roster on my site, https://49erscap.com/index.php/2024/05/03/my-first-53-man-roster-projection-with-practice-squad-injured-lists-version-1-0/

I go over why I chose who I chose, as well as 2024 & 2025 cap with my roster.

This depends on the actual rule about the 3rd QB(emergency 3rd QB), now that a PS QB can be the 3rd QB, so if Allen can go to the PS, and be the 3rd QB each week without counting against the max amount of games a player can be called up each week(3 games), and also against the max players you can call up each week(2), then ok, if not, the 49ers will definitely keep 3 QBs, we weren't the only team who went thru more than 3 QBs, Minnesota had that last year, may have been another team or 2, with the way this regime is, they'll likely keep all 3 QBs on the 53-man roster.
New updated projection after the Chris Hubbard signing.

SLB 48 Tatum Bethune
SLB 47 Ezekiel Turner* (Has no GTD money)
CB 0 Samuel Womack III

Some notes:

Brandon Allen goes to the PS if he wouldn't count against the max games allowed in a season(3) and max players allowed per week(2), if Cody Schrader out plays Mitchell or Mason, I would try & trade one of them for a mid-late round pick, & keep Schrader on the 53, I kept 4 TEs cause I still like Latu & Willis' upside, Saubert makes it as #2 TE unless someone better comes available, and I went with just 8 OL for now, if I had to choose a 9th, I'd go with Ben Bartch, he can play all IOL spots.

I went with an 11th DL(Evan Anderson) because I don't want to lose him or Davis off of waivers, LB wise, I'm tempted by Bethune as a 6th LB, CB wise I kept 6, I like Luter, but Womack could win it, or they go with Bethune as a 6th LB if they fear he'll get claimed off waivers, and Safety wise is obvious, same for ST'ers.
Wouldn't shock me if Bartch or Burford made it over Kingston.
I love Mitchell but he's not going to stay healthy, need to move on IMO.
I think Jaylon Moore or Bartch would get a spot before Kingston.
