For our offense, I think Aiyuk is a great fit. I think he def wants $30M+ right now. which may be a tough bridge to cross. I'd be curious what the actual hurdles in the negotiations are (outside of money) - like if Aiyuk wants 2-3 years and the niners want 4-5 or so. Guaranteed money, as well. I guess we will find out eventually but I'd be interested to hear that. the short term deal with a lot of guaranteed money would be tough for the niners to carry.
Lamb would be a GREAT fit here all the same. Pretending he wouldn't be because of bias team fandom is silly.
acting like stats don't matter is also dumb. They absolutely matter when talking about $$. Lamb is their offense he gets the targets to backup the reason why he should get paid what he will get.
Whatever Lamb gets doesn't mean BA will get as much. That's just my two cents. For sure helps BA to squeeze out another million or whatever. Doesn't mean he should be getting the same or even more.
The WR position is not the QB position. Like I said if that was true then every single WR would be resetting the market. Waddle/pittman/smith should have all been the highest paid WR at some point. s**t even EDGE isn't setup like that. Josh Allen and burns should have reset the market if that was true, which they didn't.
