I caught myself lol. They're all good WRs.

Agreed and fit in systems matter. Aiyuk in SF is perfect for what we ask him to do. Could Aiyuk be the #1 option dealing with bracket coverage and double teams like Lamb yes but to the same success that Lamb has is a lot of projection. Would Lamb be okay being the 3rd or 4th option in a game-plan and still block like Aiyuk that's very doubtful.

The offense only has lamb, give BA another 60 receptions and BA would blow away Lamb easy

Don't even bother. It's an easy argument to make. He just doesn't accept reality sometimes.

I mean we might as well say he's as good as JJ? Why not? All he needs is more targets…he should be the highest paid non QB.

Oh here, we go with your hyperbole. Always being so dramatic. Next thing you know, you might say George Kittle, even though he led the league in yards, wouldn't do much better if he had more targets or wouldn't be an all pro TE

Hopefully the Offensive Line heals up/comes back soon to the team soon to help out Purdy. Also possibly the QB/Receiver hot-route combos are still rusty. I can't wait for Preseason to start and we all can see with our own eyes how the team is shaping up.

Effort and skill was never a problem with EM. He just needs to stay on the field.

For sure. I hope the new Strength and conditioning coach is up to preparing the 49ers for a 20+ game season. 🙏🙏🙏

Deebo gonna remind everyone who the f**k he is this year

yep. all this talk about trading/cutting him next year is gonna look foolish. cant wait to see him return kick offs.
According to Guy Haberman, Pearsall had 10 reps and had 1 catch on 2 targets(Both balls thrown behind him) but said he was open on 7 of those reps but the ball just got thrown elsewhere. And a couple of those 10 were running plays where he was blocking.

So much wrong in your post I don't even need to bother anymore. Like I said, and many others as well disagree with your analysis, stats do NOT tell the whole story on who is the better route runner or blocking receiver or overall receiver. Now that is silly.

Like I said before back to real stuff that matters. Like talking about Brock Purdy hitting deep passes and not trying to minimize what he does.

lol you just tried telling me every analytical data point shows BA is a better route runner, yet I just showed you Lamb is the best WR in the league vs man coverage.

Since stats and film don't matter, then determining who's better is subjective.

it's funny if Lamb played here and BA played in Dallas your take would absolutely be backwards.

This is all NFL players offense and defense. This is phenomenal.

Agree, number 28 is an excellent position for a guy drafted dead last. NY85 has a great point about the 49ers scouting being top notch in the later rounds and that ShanaLynch should take advantage of that somehow. Personally the way I'd do it is just get more shots at the draft by trading down - and getting more 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounders to develop and possibly hit another gem like Purdy.

I'm a Ayiuk fan but no non niner fan would say Ayiuk is a better WR than Lamb.

He's a game changer - if he can improve his route running - he can be a dominant WR, and at the Hall of Fame level - aka - another guy who was drafted high in 1985.

Why not? Stats don't matter to you. Jefferson just gets a lot of targets like Lamb. What's the difference? "Every data point shows BA is the best route runner"

why is JJ better than BA? Explain.

that's not true, it would be a toss up IMO outside of niner and cowboy fanbases

Nice. I agree with you on Center being Feliciano and Right Guard being Puni. Burford, Zakelj and Brendel would be good backups. A bit disappointed in Brandon Parker, but hope it was a one-on-one drill vs 7-7 or 11-11 drills where he got schooled.

Yeah an the NFL agrees

I'm a BA fan and want him her long-term. He shouldn't make more $ than Lamb
