damn Puni was doing excellent in pass blocking. Look at his side of the pocket - he was giving an excellent pocket in his area.

Worth noting that the 49ers did not shift the center to help the rookie either.....

that was some Mano a Mano stuff.... put the young dude on an island and tell him to swim....and the dude swam.

pass rushers are the safest money in football....mostly just plug and play when it is a DE.

I would trade BA for a pass rusher 10 out of 10 times....and would much rather sink 26m in a pass rusher than a WR.

True, but past rushes are often neutralized in the playoffs because they won't call holding on the offense.

Yeah but Kelce could fall off a cliff at any moment. He will turn 35 soon. And people forget that he didn't have a great season in 2023. It gets overlooked because he had a great postseason. But he did nothing against us until Dre went down.

true....but BA could just as easily go 4 for 35 in a Super Bowl, and have the chiefs win the game because the right tackle was so shell shocked he forgot to hold the best pass rusher on the chiefs....

Pass Rush is safe money....maybe not this pass rusher....but I would still prefer to sink 20+m into another franchise edge player, then a WR.

I truly think BA is a good player, but also a product of the system.

Was there no media today at practice? I keep waiting to hear practice reports but we haven't heard a peep and I assume it's now over. I mostly wanted to hear if any guys returned from injury. But I guess we will have to wait to hear from Kyle in a few minutes.
