man nick Sorensen looks like jar jar binks to me. lol

Dude, Jar Jar? Kinda rude haha. I don't think he looks like JJ lol, to me, just looks like a total, CA bro who has loved the sun n surf and uses lots of Carmex.

It's like a total SoCal surfer bro from Cali and Jar Jar Binks had a child. Lol I didn't say he was ugly! Just looks like a cartoon to me.

im really hoping he is a really good coach. We need a dominate defense again. So much talent that wasn't being properly used.

i really supported the Wilks hiring but all the stuff that's come out - no wonder the plays effort was crap in the run game. Good riddance, speaks volumes that he doesn't have a job right now.

Randy Gregory is being released by the Bucs. I wonder if we would pick him up for a fourth DE. We need some depth pretty bad at DE
Question on the new kick-off rule. Before, if a team was down to the final minute they had an option to try an on-side kick where it had to go at least 10 yards to be recovered. With these new rules, has the onside kick become obsolete?

I was not super impressed by Randy, made a few good plays but overall, meh. Him and Chase just looked kinda winded doing much of anything. Too much pot and chew idk lol. Wouldn't trust them to take the trash bin out to the curb once a week lol.

No, but now its only allowed in fourth quarter, only with teams trailing and they would have to declare it (ie, no surprise onside kicks anymore)

Honestly it's googlable in less than thirty seconds

Those 2 guys for their whole careers were questioned about effort and especially Young showed it, I'll pass
It's just practice but I really think our defense is going to put harm on Rodgers. I can't wait for week 1. He's going to struggle against our secondary.

i think brown gets a pick and Warner.

Do you think the Jets D is going to be a problem for Purdy cause of all of his interceptions?

I am expecting a low scoring game. This might be the best defense the Niners face all season. But I also don't expect the Jets to score much. Rodgers playing his game in practically 2 years and him being 40 and coming off a serious injury. Jets having a new Oline that will take time to gel and Rodgers hasn't played with any of these WR's, other than Lazard.

Not worried about Rodgers, but Breece scares me. Hope our run defense steps up.

I said "it's just practice" for a reason. Lol I don't think Rodgers is a bum. I do think it'll take him a little to get comfy with his recovery but I just love our defensive matchup against theirs.

the key will be our run defense improving, if it's like last year - we will have a long night.

I just like our matchups - our defense vs their offense (I think we can give their young WRs and old Rodgers fits) and I like our O against pretty much anyone.

Only way I get super concerned is if we are missing Trent cause the backup LT is complete trash and worthless.

I concur, the key will be bottling him up. Our backups run defense has not been good in pre season but I think our revamped d line will do much better than last year. I think brown will be much better at run stop this year too. Maybe huf will be back - that would be a big boost to our run d.

I hope so but Hargraves isn't great versus the run. I'm not sure what to expect from the d line. We still don't have a legit fat ass run stopper.
