Lol man it's still wild how lucky we got with Brock. We should be in QB hell but we are in qb paradise baby

Yeah, it would have gone from years of "purgatory" straight to hell

Kyle Blew three first round picks, I'm not confident Kyle would still be coaching but for Brock saving Kyle's job today. I think Kyle would have survived a bad season, but not two (a la Bellichick) this season (if brock wasn't there) would be his last.

y'all are so dramatic, if we didnt land purdy we woulda signed cousins or some s**t. moves woulda been made. having said all that, yes the purdy pick was super lucky.

There's some good QB's out there - younger Jimmy G. level QB's like Dobbs. Dobbs would have been available too if Purdy didn't pan out. Having said that, Purdy's a Lotto Pick. Generational talent found dead last in the 2022 draft. Kyle is just one lucky dude.
The door opens for Womack who was on life support. I think Luter was already making the team. I had 5 locks.

Ward
DEMO
Yiadom
Green
Luter

If they keep 6 I thought Thomas had the lead because of experience as being a starter last season. But now with him likely heading to IR that leaves opportunities for Womack, Rock ya Sin, Lucas for that final spot.
Broken forearm. Dam that sucks
Our special teams coverage blows. Looks like they don't know how to stop that with the new rules.

Titans blitzed a lot for a preseason game.

Just heard Kyle say that.

He might be done as a Niner.

I thought he was done anyways but now we just can't trade him. lol I anticipated that we were going to send him out for a seventh or some sort of pick swap.

he will probably just go to IR now

This new kick-off return setup favors a running back with vision. There's no open field until you find a lane amidst chaos.
I would give Cody Schrader a lot more reps on kick off; he has good vision and decisiveness.

First time head coach - played his starters quite a bit and blitzed a lot. lol Kyle wont forget this

I think the ideal player for it is some one like Deebo. Great vision and burst - hard to take down.

I think this new kickoff is going to really have a major impact in games this year. So much easier to get a hit play than before. Some teams will lose/win unexpectedly cause of it

I agree and I think they envisioned Guerrendo in that role too, although he's injured of course

another interesting aspect will be in big moments in big games, late in close games, especially playoff games, teams will use their big dogs, possibly a CMC, an AJ Brown, etc.

Well I don't think we can view this new kickoff like we viewed previous kickoffs. The old rule was more dangerous and very small likelihood that you'd score even have a big run.

this new rule isn't nearly as dangerous and a lot more likely to have a big play that really makes a difference. It's almost like giving him 1 zone pitch run.

thats my opinion. I think he would enjoy it cause he would be making big plays more often and changing field position, much more often than traditional kickoffs
