And it's not like Shanny is even putting in an effort right now.

we played like 25% of our starters this game, if that. this is literally a bunch of 2nd/3rd string guys and guys who wont have a job in a week.

If you have to plug in one backup guy amongst all the other starters it's usually manageable, and that replacement guy can improve and be helped by the QB. When it's all backups it's hard for anyone to step up above their level, and the QB can do little to elevate everyone.

Mahomes just last season beat the Niners in SB with 2 off the street receivers Purdy needs to be able to elevate these guys

I dont get why people are bashing our defense. They have given up no points so far and they had to pick up a 4th and 5 to stay on the field. And they are a bunch backups going up against there starters.

Yea oline is not getting any push for us..

we pay for the number one rb and top dollar for FB and WR… so we can have scrubs block for us… it's a bold strategy cotton let's see how it works out!

they have some really good talent on that team - just about as mediocre of a head coach as you can get. they aren't doing anything with him.

Would actually be a solid spot for belichick if he wants to come back next year... and move to the south. lol he seemed fine with moving to Georgia though - so maybe.

Not only that, but the point of preseason is rarely to win the game by some bold offensive strategy. They're calling plays to see specific players run specific plays. It's more about how guys fulfill blocking and route assignments than it is stringing together your most effective play calls.
