Cowing was always making the 53 unless he got hurt and put on IR, Or showed he couldn't play in this league at all. They used a 4th RD pick on him this year. He would never clear waivers.

I dont think it matters what Gray, Bell, or Taylor do in this game. Assuming Aiyuk signs, the top 5 WR are set with Jennings, Pearsall, and Cowling as the backups. They are pretty much playing for practice roster spots.

I couldnt care less about the outcome in this game but watching our OL play does make me cringe and wonder why Shanny and Lynch traded up for a 4th rd RB instead of an OT
