Rather keep Mordecai than Allen. If we are playing Allen our season is done anyway, so why not have someone with some upside.

The only reason you have Allen on the roster is due to his veteran experience, but Dobbs provides that (and is better).

And remember they are not asking him to be their #1 or #2 guy. Not even the #3. He will be their #4 RB. Personally I would like to see him being Juice's replacement next year. He has the size, good blocker, good pass catcher. And if never fully develops as a runner, Well you don't need much of that at the fullback position.
