I'm not as convinced. This team was exposed in last year's SB run. And our run D didn't impress in the preseason. If we have difficulty stopping the run, old man Rodgers will have a field day against us.

This was an awful game for the NFL gods to schedule for us…

Yeah people like to forget about the amount of luck the 49ers got against GB and Detroit last year. They should have lost both games. Luckily that didn't happen.
No one forgot about those games and those games have no relevance to this year.

Of course they do. We're practically fielding the same team with the same head coach…

GB's coach failed to call a time out at a critical moment late in our game with them that created unnecessary pressure on his young QB and contributed to the game-deciding turnover.
Detroit's coach sh@t the bed with two preposterous 4th down calls from a winning position.
By any measure Kyle outcoached both of them on the day.

Always kinda hits in the feels when someone brings up Hearst. Great moment.

Missed the dude. Had the worst possible luck in that one playoff game against the Falcons.
Will be on a cruise next week so hopefully I will get to watch this game on the ship.

Who books a cruise opening week of the season? :)

Are Jets fans going crazy like the Niner fans were about Aiyuk and Williams?
I think Reddick will play. Too much urgency to not get it done.

Better not be a shocked Pikachu face OL when he does

I just watched a video on the Nick Wright tier ranking for week 1. Watched only half of it because it was so f**king stupid. Of course he had the Chiefs on the top tier by themself which is not a surprise and is fine, but everything else was totally made up BS. I pretty much knew this already but now I'm 100% certain this guy is a contrived, manufactured troll. Now I just laugh he's a complete joke.

He tries to be Wright. But he is WRONG.

What do we even say here? Reddick missed OTAs, mandatory minicamp, and training camp. He's holding out for a new contract that doesn't appear to be on the way, as recent reports from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said, "There doesn't seem to be any action between [Reddick] and the team," in any capacity. Even if Reddick unexpectedly reported to the facilities, it's hard to imagine him suiting up for Week 1 after spending months away from the team.

Robert Saleh is trying to keep Shanahan guessing or something. lol

Of course he's not gonna play in week 1.

For the millionth time:

STOP TALKING ABOUT HIM. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTS.
Great that Reddick is out. That's fantastic for us.

it's not hard to imagine as some Orgz don't care and do whatever it takes to win.. I won't believe he's out, until the game starts without him

That's a good way to think no doubt. But we all seen first hand that if a player misses the off season he'll gas pretty quick like we seen Bosa do. Reddick has also been traveling, I think he was in Japan not too long ago. We at least heard of Bosa staying in shape and working out. So my point is, I think Bosa was in much better shape to start the season than Reddick is, so I wouldn't worry about Reddick.
