If Tom can play till he's forty two, then Brock can play till at least Aaron's age.

That's at least another 16+ years in a row of winning the NFC Conference games!

16 years of showing the Cowboys and Seahawks what's up

On paper this looks like a 49er win but we don't play on paper. The more I think about it I can see an upset here. The holdouts of Trent and Aiyuk are obviously huge. We also are going to be without Greenlaw and Hufanga, 2 of our best defenders. Then there's the fact that the starters have barely played so I have no idea how sharp they will be.

I have some real concerns for the season as well. How well will the O line hold up this season even if Trent plays? Will CMC be able to avoid injury for another year or will he wear down? If Kittle gets hurt (he usually misses a couple games) who plays tight end? Will they suffer from that dreaded SB loser hangover? Lots of questions.

Yeah, I feel great about this game too. Lol

I also think Trent will be back by game 1.

just cause Aiyuk is out doesn't mean our entire offense crumbles. lol still have multiple all pros. If Brock is what we think he is - he can survive with multiple all pros.

We are going to get four turnovers from the jets offense

Nice

With Science, maybe that can translate to 60 in 20 years.

Thank god Midget Wilson is gone from the West Division. McVay hopefully will always be Kyle's Son. Looking forward to seeing Jimmy play against us as Stafford gets dinged again this season. Cardinals are always the cardinals!
If Trent doesn't play this will be a big L and a terrible way to start the year.

Still is wild how many rookies are way older than norm cause the college rules changing in covid. Lol point still stands - both our rookie WRs are near this dudes age and he's been in the league for 3+ years.

Way more players than usual are playing 5-6 years in college now, which is good for drafting more polished guys - in theory. It's going to be really interesting how it impacts contract negotiations in 4 years. By year 2 or so of their second contract, they'll be 30+.

It'll be interesting how teams structure those contracts going forward.

this is from a new article on bleacher report:

An anonymous NFL agent expressed their belief Thursday that the New York Jets are in a state of turmoil because of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Speaking to Ben Standig of The Athletic, the agent said: "There is complete disarray over there. Look at how they've handled Aaron Rodgers. Has one player had more power than him? He skipped minicamp. They have been unable to convert him into a team player. The vibe inside the building is terrible."

New York acquired Rodgers, 40, in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers prior to the 2023 season, but he suffered a season-ending torn Achilles on the Jets' first offensive series of the campaign.

Now the Jets are banking on the idea that Rodgers will be able to bounce back and play at a high level in 2024 despite his age and the significance of the injury he is returning from.

None of this matters, once Rodgers suits up it's game-on!!! Also he finally has a solid defense to back him up and they'll be able to attack on week 1 with no Trent Williams in the way. This is gonna suck.

If Tom can play till he's forty two, then Brock can play till at least Aaron's age.

That's at least another 16+ years in a row of winning the NFC Conference games!
That is a great way to look at it. Now I hope they can make sure BP doesn't get hurt behind this OL and get TW back on his blindside. The glass is mostly full but I will feel better when it runnith over.

That I agree with. It is what it is. It's also wild seeing guys nowadays playing for 2-4 different schools in like four years in college. Transfer portal was a game-changer.
