Way more players than usual are playing 5-6 years in college now, which is good for drafting more polished guys - in theory. It's going to be really interesting how it impacts contract negotiations in 4 years. By year 2 or so of their second contract, they'll be 30+.

It'll be interesting how teams structure those contracts going forward.

That I agree with. It is what it is. It's also wild seeing guys nowadays playing for 2-4 different schools in like four years in college. Transfer portal was a game-changer.

I should have double checked that tweet though. Lol I usually do or I preface that I'm not positive if it's true. I immediately got to thinking about how different college ball is these days now cause of COVID.

Im not a big fan of the players all over. I understand it and glad the players make money but it just makes it weird to support a college program since it's essentially the same as nfl free agency now.

Wait until Trent is back - it'll be like taking a shot of meth right to the vein.

I think the Aiyuk signing is going to bring some great energy to the team as the season is kicking off. I'm really glad it didn't leak into the season like I thought it was starting to look that way.

This is no push over game and what might be a prove it year for Saleh. If AR is off the mushrooms he may be biting at the bullet to announce his return. Top ranked defensive line.

I'm not sure there could have been a better opening season game and in the Monday Night lights on top of it. And at home.

Last year some of our night games were flat at best. I hope that was last year. AR's Jet debut last year was over in 10 minutes. I'm sure they are stoked. It's going to be a lit game. I'd feel much better if TW was in the lineup.

Or the Aiyuk signing brings them to a low. With Deboo thinking he wants more or is gone next year and others thinking they should do the same and wanting more.

I think I'll holdout for more. More games on regular TV channels instead of having to sign up and stream certain games. Also more game action and fewer commercials and stoppages. Fans deserve more too.

Yeah he won't be there. Which will hurt them but they still have a really good d line.

I believe the dysfunction is real within the jets - they're talented but idk if they're all there mentally. If we can get an early turnover and put pressure on them - I think we can end up raining down on em.

I think between our starting corners and starting Dline unit (Bosa, Hargrave, Collins, Floyd) - we stand a good chance of getting them in a hole early.

I did sunday ticket on YouTube last year and watched every game for the first time in my life as if I was native to SF which was awesome. I did pony up again this season, but its a lot of money.
