Pretty pissed that Kingston is gone

exactly....

This is staring to feel like the 90s when they drafted guy that never had a shot at making the roster...it was common to have guys drafted that got cut.

I think Kingston showed enough, there is no way I hazard the guy before injuries made me move the roster around. You don't drop a clearly talented guy when teams are working with a "perfect" roster construction ability. Drop the guy....if you have too..... when other teams are forced to keep dudes because the wear and tear of the season is effecting EVERYONE.

Teams might be less prone to pick the guy up if they have no room to take a flier on a guard, because they are down a kicker, or down a QB and LBers...maybe the do....but at least make them hurt to do it. Not when all options are open before the season starters.

Maybe I am missing something in all of this...but damn I hate to loose the guy, it has been a while since we had 3 rookie linemen that look this stable.

Losing Kingston = oof
Losing Graham = sucks but predictable. no one claimed him so he wanted to go elsewhere where its an easier path
Schrader = was always going to be cut and a PS guy imo so whatever. CMC and Mason and Guerendo would be ahead of him anyway

Trent Taylor = Im so tired of dude

It is the sign of a strong roster when you have to cut present draft picks, and they get picked up by other teams. Remember the dark days when we picked uip patriots cut players and they started week 1.

except when we're paper thin on oline with bunch of bums and we cut one of two OL draft picks made in this draft and he's getting picked up...Id rather have the player than a "our roster is so good other teams want our players" self-pat on the back
