I really liked him out of college and thought he was a steal for Panthers in the draft, but not sure if he fits this offense

Having the QBs he has had the past two years explains part of his lack of production. However, he also received low marks for his run blocking. Shanahan must believe he can turn that around. He has never come close to his draft hype. He sounds like a guy who relied on his physical ability and never polished his craft.

He ran a sub 4.4, so hes very different from Jennings. Marshall is a guy whose biggest asset is going vertical and making contested catches. Hes never polished his route running and I dont think hes much of a blocker. I'm admittedly partial to guys with good hands and who make contested catches, I also liked Bryan Edwards and that guy is out of football now. Lol

True true, I didnt say you did either I think hes more of an outside guy than a slot guy. Either way hes a long shot because this team is full of WRs and its a running team anyway.

Panthers' fan comment: "TMJ can only run vertical routes, he is subpar at everything else a receiver needs to be good at. There is no way he is on the team next season, complete bust. If we had an actual receiving corps, he would be out of the league by now."
